8. Warranty and Commercial Use

Products supplied by us are covered by the warranties stated in our Terms and Conditions of Sale. Unless otherwise specified:

  • Retail customers receive a 5-year warranty on AquaCo Filtration Systems.
  • Wholesale and trade customers receive a 2-year warranty.
  • All systems used in commercial applications carry a 2-year warranty.
  • Industrial reverse osmosis (RO) systems include a 2-year standard warranty.

9. Installation Terms

9.1 Additional Installation Requirements and Costs

Most installations do not require additional components or services. However, site conditions, the customer’s requested installation location, water pressure, access requirements or other installation circumstances may require additional materials, labour or travel.

Where an additional cost applies, the plumber will explain the requirement and confirm the cost with you before completing the additional work. No additional work will proceed without your approval.

All prices below include GST.

  • Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
    • When It's Needed: If water pressure exceeds 70 psi
    • Cost (Incl. GST): $65-$154 (depending on location)
  • Free-Standing Poles
    • When It's Needed: When there is no wall or suitable surface to mount the system
    • Cost (Incl. GST): $165
  • Free-Standing Poles with Back-Plate (VIC only)
    • When It's Needed: Includes a backing panel to cover the rear of the system for a cleaner appearance when customers don't want the back of the unit exposed
    • Cost (Incl. GST): $297
  • Garden Tap Connection
    • When It's Needed: Provides filtered water to the garden tap located next to the system
    • Cost (Incl. GST): $154
  • Service Location (Pipe Tracing)
    • When It's Needed: Used to locate underground water lines when pipe positions are unknown
    • Cost (Incl. GST): $330
  • Concrete Cutting
    • When It's Needed: If access requires cutting concrete for installation
    • Cost (Incl. GST): Quoted per job
  • Travel Fees (Non-Refundable)
    • When It's Needed: Travel fees may apply if your suburb is outside the catchment zone
    • Cost (Incl. GST): Quoted per job (Non-Refundable)
  • Compliance Certificate (VIC Only)
    • When It's Needed: Compliance Certificate Administration & Processing Fee
    • Cost (Incl. GST): $88

Note: Additional charges will only apply where the relevant component, service or work is reasonably required to complete the installation, or where it has been requested by the customer.

9.2 Installation Location Flexibility

If you are not satisfied with the plumber's proposed installation location, you may request an alternative location. Where the alternative location requires additional labour, materials or services, the applicable costs will be explained and quoted to you before the additional work begins.

9.3 Travel Fees Outside the Catchment Zone

A travel fee may apply to installations located outside our standard service catchment area. The fee will be quoted based on the installation location and travel distance.

The travel fee becomes non-refundable once the plumber has been dispatched, except where otherwise required under the Australian Consumer Law.

9.4 Cancellation During the Installation Appointment

Perth installations: If you decide not to proceed following the on-site review, you will receive a refund of the installation fee. Any applicable travel fee may remain non-refundable once the technician has been dispatched.

VIC, QLD and NSW installations: A call-out fee of AUD $165, including GST, may apply if you decide not to proceed during the installation appointment where:

  • a reasonable installation location is available; or
  • the installation can proceed but requires an additional cost that has been explained to you.

9.5 Cancellation After Goods Have Been Delivered

Shipping costs are included as part of the installation service. If the goods have already been delivered and you decide to keep the goods but cancel the installation service, the actual shipping cost of the goods will be deducted from any refund of the installation fee.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Privacy
