Features

  • Easy filter changes – Quick, simple “swap-out” design with no special tools required.
  • Recommended replacement – Replace filters every 12–18 months. Actual replacement frequency will depend on your water quality and how much water you use. Leaving filters in service for too long can put stress on the housings and may lead to reduced filtration performance, leaks, or damage to the system.

Important: For both whole house and under-sink systems, filters are designed to be replaced before you notice a change in taste, smell or quality. We recommend following the service schedule rather than waiting for symptoms or relying on occasional water tests. This keeps your water consistently fresh and protects your system long-term.

There is no reliable way to visually inspect most filters. The only stage that will capture visible particles is the first-stage sediment filter, which removes dirt, sand, rust and other suspended solids. The following chemical or carbon stages work by adsorption – a microscopic process where contaminants bond to the filtration media. Because this happens at a molecular level, you can’t see when these filters are exhausted. Performance is determined by time in service, water quality and usage, not by appearance.
