Maintenance: Filter housings are recommended to be changed every 5-10 years. However, replacement frequency can vary depending on water pressure and if filter housings are directly/indirectly exposed to the sun.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

The 20" x 4.5" Housing Sump has a wide range of different uses in both domestic and commercial applications. Commonly used for Whole House Filtration (POE) Systems, with sediment, carbon or other filter media cartridges, the 20" housing provides the ability to be used with high-capacity filters to achieve high flow rates.

WARNING: For correct operation of this appliance, it is essential to use with water only.
- Do not use with chemical solutions.
- Do not use this filter housing if damage or cracks are present.

CAUTION: The rubber O-ring provides the watertight seal between the cap and the sump. It is important that the O-ring is properly SEATED IN THE GROOVE of the sump or a water leak could occur.
-PROTECT FILTER HOUSINGS from freezing, direct sunlight or other sources of UV rays.
-Exposure may cause filter housing failure.
-Improper use of pressurized filter housings may result in injury or property damage.

INSTRUCTIONS: Only PTFE (Teflon) thread seal tape is approved for use on all threaded connections. The use of liquid pipe sealants or thread seal compounds will void the warranty.

MAXIMUM PRESSURE & PLV REQUIREMENT:
- This filter housing has a maximum operating rating of 90* psi.
- Water pressure can fluctuate over time, even if it was within the acceptable range at the time of installation. Where the line pressure exceeds 480 kPa (70 psi), a Pressure Limiting Valve (PLV) must be installed before the filter housing. This action will guard against the water pressure exceeding the maximum pressure rating. It is recommended that the pressure regulator be set at 480 kPa (70 psi) or less.
- Turn off water supply to relieve pressure before removing filter sump.
