Keeping track of filter replacements can be confusing, particularly when you have a whole house system outside and an undersink water filtration system in your kitchen.

To make this easier, AquaCo will send you an annual email reminder when your filters are due. You will then have up to six months from the reminder date to complete the replacement.

Important: Filters for both whole house and undersink systems should be replaced before you notice a change in your water. Following the recommended service schedule, rather than relying on water testing or waiting for noticeable signs, helps maintain consistently fresh water and protects your system.

Water Softener

Water softeners do not require replacement filters. Only water softener salt is required.

Salt maintenance: Check the salt level regularly and top it up as required. For most households, this is usually around once per month, depending on water usage.

Important: If scheduled services are skipped or delayed, the membrane’s performance may be affected. This could require all reverse osmosis filters to be replaced at the same time at a cost of $249.
